Jury trial for driving under the influence of drugs, evidence was suppressed at trial and the state offered to reduce all charges to just one count of reckless driving, client accepted the plea and was fined $350 after a serious car crash into a telephone pole, admitted to taking Percocets, had drugs in his hospital blood test that the state subpoenaed, admitted to driving the vehicle prior to the crash (the state attorney was very upset the judge agreed with the motion to suppress).

In a case I defended in December 2021, the state recommended supervised probation, I argued for, and the judge granted unsupervised probation thereby saving my client hours of driving to and from the probation office, as well as saving my client at least $600 in probation supervision fees.
